Crock Pot Chicken Philly

Happy Wednesday! I wanted to share this super easy recipe that I made tonight. I literally threw some things together and it took a whole 10 minutes.

Recipe:
2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
4 Chicken Breasts
2 Green Peppers cut in slices
1 Red Onion (you can use sweet onions as well- I just didn’t have any)
Layer- coconut oil, peppers, onions, and then chicken… Cover & cook on low for 6 hours… at this time the chicken should put apart & you can either eat it alone, put it on Ezekiel toast or a low carb wrap. (You can add cheese if you want but I didn’t)
Super Easy & Man approved :0)

Going to cook this next week 🙂

  2. Did you try the recipe? How did you like it?

  3. Can you sub the green bell pepper for as different color?

  4. Yes, absolutely. I used the green because it was all I had in the fridge. Yellow or red will give you a little sweeter of a taste since those peppers tend to be on the sweeter side but it will be just as good.

  5. Thank you! love your blog!! I have a question… Why do you have plastic in your crock pot? Is it part of the cooking process?

Hey, sorry. I actually used a crock pot liner. You can buy them at most grocery stores but it keeps you from having to do a lot of clean up. Once you are finished you toss and that’s pretty much it. I hate having to super scrub a crock pot!
