5 Ingredient Banana Bread

When you ripe bananas… you make banana bread! Today the kids and I dumped some stuff into a blender and ta-da.. a miracle happened! Just kidding but it was a miracle that the kitchen wasn’t a disaster after we were done ha! Here is our super easy recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 medium bananas (the more ripe they are, the sweeter)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Extras- walnuts, chocolate chips, cinnamon

(I have also made this recipe and added 1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder- I use Orgain Vanilla with Superfoods)  Get it here

Directions:

  1. Pre-Heat the oven to 350 Degrees
  2. Toss everything except the add ons into the blender and mix.
  3. Bake for 30-35 minutes. (check with knife, if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
  4. Cut and enjoy warm or let it cool.
  5. Keep in air tight container in refrigerator.

We made two different kinds, one where we added chocolate chips and the other with walnuts and 2 scoops of protein powder. Both turned out great!
